Roadtrippin the 101

The 101 is a 1,650-mile (2,655 km), mostly two-lane route that stretches along the West Coast from the Northern most point of Washington to the Mexican border in California. The road winds through long stretches of untouched coastline interspersed with quaint seaside towns where you can grab a cup of coffee and browse through book stores, antique shops, and galleries stocked by local artists. The scenery ranges from old growth forests and crystal clear mountain lakes, to wild unspoiled beaches with fantastic sea stacks.
